LEGAL — META DATA DELETION
About Meta data deletion requests.
This page explains what Retrics deletes when you ask Meta to remove the data an app holds about you, and what it cannot reach.
01Request status
No confirmation code was included in this link, so nothing has been deleted by loading this page. Meta adds a code automatically when it sends you here after a request it has actually processed.
02What was deleted
The advertising connection between your Meta account and Retrics, and everything held under it: the stored access token, the connected ad accounts and campaigns, the daily performance insights and their revision history, and the record of any custom audiences pushed to your ad account.
Custom audiences themselves live in your own Meta ad account, not in Retrics — we only ever uploaded irreversible hashes of email addresses to it. Deleting them is done in Meta Ads Manager, which we cannot do on your behalf.
Retrics never stored your Meta password, payment methods, or any raw email address from your customer list.
03How the request reached us
When you remove Retrics from your Meta account and ask Meta to delete your data, Meta sends us a signed request naming your account. We verify that signature against our app secret, delete the data immediately, and return a confirmation code — the one shown above — before responding to Meta.
If you removed the app without requesting deletion, the connection is marked disconnected and stops syncing, but your historical ad reporting is kept so it is still there if you reconnect. Request deletion through Meta to remove it.
04Questions, or a written confirmation
Email hello@retrics.aiwith your confirmation code and we will confirm in writing what was deleted and when. Your broader privacy rights, and the separate path for a store’s own customers, are set out on the data rights page.
